Huffman Metal Works is among the very few in the Carolinas to offer onsite Laser Processing capabilities. Using state-of-the-art, high-speed material processing tools, we use the power of light to deliver incredible positioning accuracy in the fabrication of components for industrial, commercial and in some cases even retail applications.
Producing a 2000 WATT beam of energy from an integrated laser resonator, our SuperTurbo-X Mazak CNC laser Processing Machine is engineered to handle sheet form materials upto 60" x 120". With ease and pin-point accuracy we can process such diverse materials as carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized steel, spring steel, and many plastics.
The following is a list of materials that we have cut on our laser. The list is only intended to be an indication of our capabilities. We are not limited to these materials exclusively. Also, these materials are those that we stock or can get with a minimum of lead time.

Freed from having to use cheaper linear and circular shapes, your designers can now fabricate parts in an infinite variety of shapes and thicknesses. Even with all this going for us, our customers continue to provided us with daily challenges. In a few cases we have been provided with a single, broken sample to replicate. From this rough sample, we have created clones that are equal to and in many cases better than the original. Once it has been created, it can be recreated time and time again with each identical to the first. When you have this level of technology at your disposal, the only limit your designers have to face is their own imagination.
